Tell us about your background

I studied webdesign back in 2002 I started an agency in 2007 and have grown to a team of 20+ staff doing everything digital from web design, graphics to mobile apps, software, PPC, SEO etc The agency has also turned me into a serial entrepreneur and enabled me to launch several of my own brands.

Where did the idea come from?

I was an immigration consultant and I needed a website, I hired someone to build it for me, 13 years later he is the operations director of my company

What were some early challenges you faced?

- Learning how to sell digital products. - Communicating from my team to my clients, as the team had the answers and I'd be back and forth - Learning new technologyu as it came on and trying to beat the competition

How has your business changed from it’s inception to now?

- From 2 people to over 20 - Clients across the globe - People and Sytstems in place

Tell us about your biggest failure

Not taking it more serious in the first 3 years, we had alot of missed opportunities working and treating this as a side hustle

What is the best indicator for you that your business is working?

When we have staff working for 10+ years we are working internally. When we have rpeat clients and referrals, we are working externally

What is the biggest challenge you face with your business daily?

Not being able to satisfy all clients. Some expect everything for nothing

What’s something you wish clients understood better about your business?

Technology is more like building a mchine, not painting a wall

Are there any areas you’d like to expand in over the next few years?

Are there any areas you’d like to expand in over the next few years? We do bits across the board, just increasing it

Are there any technology trends that you’re particularly excited about using in your work?

It is the best upgrade and multi-revenue businesses I'v been in. A website leads to Social Media and SEO, which can lead to Video Ads, a mobile app, other software.. it's never ending

What advice would you give someone who is considering launching their own agency?

Never say no, take the opportunities as they come and find the people to do them.
